Our remote was not working, even after we changed the battery. The technician came out and played with it and got it working. He then evaluated our Genie Garage Door opener and tightened one of the light bulbs. He offered to replace the unit, but we won't at this time

Called to schedule someone to fix a 22 year garage door with an 8 year broken spring. Was told $99 to $299. Service guy shows up and says he will ONLY replace with 2 springs for $800 to $1100. I say no but then have to pay $50 for him to leave. Was never told about a service call fee.

In your case, I understand that you are displeased with our Service Fee. When we spoke I understood that the Service Fee was NOT mentioned to you, and I immediately refunded the $49.95 for you. The reason for the Service Fee as we discussed on our call is to cover the high cost of having trucks and employees available 24 hours 7 days a week. The Service Fee as we spoke also includes a 27 point Safety Inspection, and any of our recommendations of repairs that may be needed to get you back to having a fully operating garage door that's safe for you and your family. We appreciate your business. Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss anything further.

On 3/29/24 Precision Door technician Cade Mercell repaired our garage door that was not operating properly. Cade arrived at my home at the scheduled appointment time and got the door operating well. He was totally professional and answered any questions that my wife and I had. …In addition, the appointment was made on Thursday evening at 8:00 PM and Cade arrived the next morning at 11:00 AM.
