Steve Colley has been a Senior Technician with Precision Door Service for 3 years. He is certified through the IDEA, or Institute of Door Education and Accreditation as a residential installer and Technician. Originally from Indiana, He attended Purdue University while majoring in Electrical Engineering. He is extremely goal oriented and always looks forward to learning new things. When not at work, he and his daughter enjoy swimming, reading together, fishing and looking for new adventures. As a Technician, he prides him self on doing the job right the first time and making that everlasting first impression.

Steve arrived within just a couple of hours. He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. In a short amount of time he had my 30+ year old Garage door working better than it ever had. Great products, and great service. Definitely glad I didn't DIY this project. Steves skill and knowledge were well worth the money.

Garage door was getting louder when used and wasn’t seating when closed leaving small gap. Stephen was on time, professional, and super knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and provided options on what was needed and cost. He had our door sounding much quieter than before as well as the door being tight to the ground. Great experience with Stephen and Precision, would definitely use again.

I would like to say that Stephen is awesome. Why? Cause I sent him pictures in a text of cables that needed replaced and he had me an appointment the next day to get those replaced. He went above and beyond to make sure that problem was resolved quickly. Thanks to Steve Colley for installing the new cables. He did an amazing job as well.

The garage door motor quit working in the afternoon of 7/19 after I had opened & closed it that morning. I was leaving early the next morning for a long road trip so I was very upset. Steve came over and determined that it had probably been struck by lightning, but got the door closed. Reluctantly I left the next morning, returning Sunday afternoon. He called this morning, and Precision replaced the whole unit, including a better surge protector at no charge!! Needless to say, I am a ‘Very Happy Camper’!! THANKS for being a reputable company either great service folks!!

I was having trouble with my garage door opener. I worked on it and worked on it myself trying to fix the problem but it just kept recurring. The service man came out, identified the problem and after about two hours had the problem resolved. I have had zero issues since and am quite pleased.

Very impressed. Called and had Steve arrive within alotted 2 hour window. (Literally an hour after I called.) Very professional and knowledgeable. While the expense was not what I wanted to hear, the amazing work was completed within an hour and clearly explained. Precision door was used by my home warranty about two years ago and the two young men that came that day impressed me. Steve Colley has impressed me even more. His overall attitude of what can I do to help you was way above what I’ve seen in other service providers. He even did something I consider extra, at no charge, when my key pad didn’t work. Helping me replace my 9 volt battery. Thanks for such quick and great service. My garage door has never opened and closed as smoothly as it does now.

After my garage door made a loud bang I saw that one of the wheels had come completely off track. It was 4:00 pm so I called and feared I would be told they wouldn’t be able to help me today, but instead Steve Colley, a technician was at the house by 4:30. My garage door broke on Friday night (black Friday) at 8 30 PM. With zero expectations I performed a Google search of the area for garage technicians. My good fortune led me to contact Precision Door Service where the phone was answered by a live human that was able to schedule an appointment for Saturday morning. My good fortune continued when the technician, Steve Colley, showed up on time and completed the servicing quickly and at the price agreed upon. A 5 star service without doubt.

We accidentally lowered our door down onto a rake leaning on the door frame. Oh boy; mistake. It warped the tracking system, bent the guide wheels badly all the way around, & set the 2 car wide door completely askew from its intended position. Holly was instrumental in making sure we had wildly impressive quick service. Our technician was Steve Colley who was equally impressive. BOTH were so personable I was actually 'almost' glad we had this fiasco happen just to be able to meet them! I'd call them again in a heartbeat!
