Prompt in arrival; kept me informed with details of: background/picture of the tech: when departing to my location and info about the Company. When I made decision to replace door, very comprehensive review of choices, dimensions and technical info on materials/guarantees and estimated date for installation. Great technician but poor company policy. Sam, the technician was excellent, he was helpful and communicated well. I do feel that the policy of requiring a $50 service charge before getting a quote is not a good business practice. If a customer wants to get a second opinion this policy makes that very hard as they then have to lose the service fee. In my case, I did want a second opinion and Sam did waive the service fee after I asked which was good customer service. Also, I noticed that there was company "policy" that forced me into more expensive repairs.

I would like to thank you for the great review of our technician Sam. We have a compressive training program including hiring an outside training company to make sure that our technicians represent us in the very best manor. We also send each technician to every job with a fully stocked truck so that they can solve 98% of the garage door problems our customers encounter and we generally do that in just one trip. We do charge a modest service fee that we disclose before setting each appointment. We also give the technicians the authority to wave this modest fee if there were any sort of customer confusion about the the customer having agreed to this fee before booking their appointment with us. This is exactly what Sam did in your case. We do wish you the best of luck in getting your garage door repaired.

Someone answered the phone on a holiday and made an appointment for my repairs. Technician was very knowledgable and patiently explained the issues with my door and showed me the problem areas. He had everything he needed with him and completed the repair quickly. He arrived on time as well.

Precision Garage Door service was excellent! Luke was prompt (early even), professional, and quick. I'm glad they were open on Labor Day. Why our garage door couldn't have failed 48 hours prior to that, I don't know, but that's just how it is sometimes... But he helped get my car out and then he got it working by noon. Would highly recommend!

We called to have the coil spring replaced. An inspection revealed the need to rebuild the garage door. Our tech was able to show me the cracks in the hinges and the worn rollers and parts. I could see the wear and tear of thirty years and we agreed to update everything. We were given accurate information and fair pricing. The work was done quickly and everything runs so much better.

I cannot comment on the door itself until it is installed, but Drew is so good to answer any questions I might have as well as he helped me to print the information I needed for the Garage Door receipts to be printed for my file. My wife called me after I left the house this morning to tell me the garage wouldn’t go up. Her car was trapped in the garage and we had kids to get to school. I immediately got online, Googled, and scheduled a service call with Precision Door from my phone within 2 minutes. It was a very simple process. I went home and let my wife take my car and waited for the appointment. I got an early call from Luke to tell me he was immediately available if it was convenient. Heck Yeah! Luke showed up, diagnosed the issue, and let me know what needed to be done and how long it would take. He got the job knocked quickly and efficiently. He did a great job. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the Precision Door stands behind their work with a life time warranty. I could not be more satisfied. Great job all the way around.

Tech immediately tried to sell me more or “better” parts. Started project and messed up the spring. Had to correct this so it took more time which I was then charged for after he called “the boss” who said to do that. I pre paid Home Depot for the door opener /installation project then had to pay another 145 bucks over that initial price. Tech dropped a light bulb on the garage floor but “ tried” to clean it up…….things happen I guess.

Greetings! I just met your technician, Luke, and was very impressed with his courtesy, cleanliness, and professionalism. After assessing the door situation, he got right to work! He educated me on the importance of making sure we keep our door springs, hinges, etc. properly lubricated and look for anything loose or "wonky" (industry term- LOL). He noticed a couple other issues and fixed them as well. It operates smooth and quiet now. Yea! No more "clunky" noises. We purchased our door a couple years ago and have been pleased with the results and response to our concerns. Thank you for providing great service and a well-educated service technician with a positive attitude.

We had a great first experience. This was our first garage repair as home owners and we didn’t know what to expect. Our technician was very knowledgeable, honest, and patient with us. He carefully looked at everything, not just the spring that was broken and fixed a big issue with our cables. Nobody wants to spend money on repairing things, but it has to be done and we feel like we got a fair deal and we were taken care of.
